EBICS Trainees, Mustafa Mir and Vincent Chan, were 2 of 11 recipients of the Best Poster Award for the Bioengineering Poster Session held on Friday, April 1 on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Campus. Over 50 student posters were showcased.

• Mustafa’s poster was entitled: Quantitative Phase Microscopy for Cell Dry Mass Measurements. His faculty advisor is Dr. Gabriel Popescu (Illinois).
• Vincent’s poster was entitled: A Cardiac Patch for Neovessel Patterning and Revascularization Using 3D Printing Technology.  His faculty advisor is Dr. Rashid Bashir (Illinois).
